Technique manifesto
Tempera, mixed with water, spread on paper with a sponge. Once it dries, charcoal builds the structure — and the eraser removes it again, drawing with what’s taken away, not what’s added. Pastel enters last, never more than 40% of the surface. The ground stays visible throughout. That restraint is the technique.
Portraits:
One person, or two people in one real moment together — an embrace, a shared gesture, not two likenesses placed side by side. The scene is composed, not assembled.
